Katie Brown
Associate
Katie Brown is an associate at Davis Graham, where her practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling. Katie advises clients on the full range of labor and employment issues. She litigates cases involving state and federal non-discrimination laws, wage and hour rules, trade secrets, commercial torts, and contractual non-competition and other restrictive covenants. She also handles employment due diligence for clients in the transactional context.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Katie worked as a legal fellow in the Employment & Labor Law Section of the Denver City Attorney’s Office. During her fellowship, she represented the City of Denver and its agencies in a variety of employment law claims, constitutional claims, and administrative appeals of disciplinary actions. During law school, Katie worked as a student attorney in DU’s Advanced Civil Litigation Clinic. She was awarded “Outstanding Student Lawyer” for her work in the clinic.
Katie currently serves on the Board of the Denver Urban Debate League. Katie also serves on the Executive Council of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. Katie is a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s Impact Denver program.
