Nicholas R. Peppler is a senior associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where his practice focuses on representing a variety of clients in complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on energy and oil and gas companies. Nick has extensive experience defending clients in contract disputes, construction defect, trespass, intellectual property, trade secret, fraud, unfair competition, and other business torts. Prior to joining DGS, Nick was an attorney in the Denver office of a large international firm, where he was responsible for handling all aspects of commercial litigation cases and gained experience defending class action lawsuits and products liability cases.

Nick received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law graduating in the top 1% of his class and in the Order of the Coif. During law school, he was an articles editor for the Oregon International Law Review and president of the Law & Entrepreneurship Student Association. He supplemented his program with experience as a law clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ann Aiken of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

Nick also maintains an active pro bono practice. In addition to working with the Colorado Lawyers Committee, Nick second-chaired a pro bono civil trial for an indigent prisoner that was injured in a prison slip and fall. Nick also routinely provides pro bono assistance to indigent tenants facing eviction.
