Sarah E. Barr
Staff Attorney
Sarah E. Barr is a staff attorney in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her practice focuses on technology, intellectual property, and privacy and data security matters.
She was previously Senior Corporate Counsel for Clarity AI and Cablevision Lightpath, LLC, where she advised on corporate matters, oversaw US and EMEA regulatory work, and managed the litigation dockets. Earlier, Sarah was an associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. She has represented clients in a broad range of matters spanning employment issues, trademark and copyright defense, internal investigations, and energy regulatory and compliance law. Sarah has experience in all aspects of litigation, including representative experience before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in regulatory proceedings. She maintains an active pro bono practice with an emphasis on disability and immigration law.
Sarah received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a member of the Supreme Court Institute and served as a student criminal defense attorney with the Georgetown Criminal Justice Clinic. During law school, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Raymond Gruender of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the District of Columbia. After graduating from law school, she was a law clerk for the Honorable R. Brooke Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Sarah also holds a B.J. in Journalism from the University of Missouri.
Outside her practice, Sarah is actively involved in the community. She serves as pro bono counsel for Chamber of Mothers and regularly volunteers with community organizations focused on supporting immigrants and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
