DENVER – October 26, 2026 – Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is honored to announce that Chad Williams has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. Fellowship recognizes exceptional trial lawyers whose careers have demonstrated the highest standards of advocacy, ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.

“Chad’s induction into the American College of Trial Lawyers is an extraordinary and well-deserved recognition of the caliber of trial lawyer he is,” said Kristin Lentz, co-managing partner of Davis Graham. “His commitment to the highest standards of advocacy, sound judgment, and collegiality has defined his practice and earned the trust of clients facing their most consequential legal challenges. We are incredibly proud to see Chad receive this honor.”

Chad has built a preeminent white collar defense practice in the Western U.S., representing corporations and individuals in high-stakes civil and criminal litigation, government investigations, securities and corporate governance litigation, and SEC enforcement matters. A former public defender with extensive courtroom experience, Chad has successfully tried civil and criminal cases, from criminal securities fraud to complex disputes, on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, and has a record of prevailing in difficult, highly scrutinized cases.

Many of Chad’s client wins, however, are achieved quietly, away from public view. He is accomplished in orchestrating declinations and “no file” decisions from government enforcers and managing crisis situations involving considerable criminal, political, reputational, and civil liability. His practice regularly places him alongside corporations, executives, directors, public officials, and other individuals facing some of their most significant legal and business challenges.

Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America®, Benchmark Litigation, Lawdragon, and The Legal 500 have consistently recognized his litigation practice and client successes. Among those distinctions, he was named the 2024 Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” for securities litigation and has been recognized by Benchmark Litigation as a Local Litigation Star.

Founded in 1950, the American College of Trial Lawyers is an invitation-only fellowship of leading trial lawyers in the U.S. and Canada, with membership limited to one percent of lawyers in any state or province. The College advances the highest standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice.
