Aditi Kulkarni-Knight

Aditi Kulkarni-Knight serves clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation, including discovery, motions practice, settlement negotiations, trial and arbitration, and federal and state appeals. Aditi frequently represents energy companies, technology companies, public utility companies, private equity companies, and individuals and has defended clients against claims including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, fraud, and negligence. She also represents clients in environmental litigation, including lawsuits alleging environmental contamination based on common-law theories and cases involving CERCLA. Aditi is also experienced in representing both companies and individuals in SEC, DOJ, and other government investigations. 

Born and raised in Colorado, Aditi strives to stay involved in the local community. She currently serves on the University of Colorado Law Alumni Board and the board of the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado.

• Obtained a favorable jury verdict following a three-week trial for a utility company in a matter arising from a natural gas explosion. 
• Obtained a favorable jury verdict for a bank serving as a trustee in a contract dispute with a metropolitan district.
• Obtained a favorable jury verdict for an exploration and production company in a damages dispute with a contractor. 
• Obtained a complete defense verdict for a utility company following a jury trial relating to allegations of negligence resulting in personal injury. 
• Obtained a complete defense award in arbitration of contract dispute under Colorado law. 
• Obtained favorable settlements for corporate officers accused of fraud, breach of contract, and civil conspiracy. 
• Obtained favorable settlement for telecommunications company accused of civil and criminal trespass.
• Obtained favorable settlements for various companies involved in SEC and DOJ investigations regarding disclosure and reporting violations and claims of fraud, corruption, and bribery.  
• Served as trial and appellate counsel to an oil and gas company in CERCLA contribution action. 
• Achieved parole and asylum for several detained pro bono clients seeking asylum for political persecution.
