Nathan J. Goergen
Partner
Nathan Goergen is a partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures in a broad range of industries, including private equity, hospitality, mining, energy, retail, and manufacturing. Nate is the leader of the Business & Corporate Advisory Group.
In addition to his mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures practice, Nate advises private equity and venture capital firms on equity financing transactions, and private equity portfolio and venture-backed companies on general corporate matters, fiduciary duties, and commercial contracts.
In 2025, Nate was a recipient of the M&A Advisor Emerging Leaders Award. Since 2022, Nate has been named among The Best Lawyers in America, “Ones to Watch” in the areas of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law. In 2024, he was named a Rising Star in Business & Corporate Law by Super Lawyers.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as the associate editor of the University of Colorado Law Review. He received his B.A. in Finance, graduating magna cum laude from Valparaiso University.
