  • Serious Ozone Update: Live Video Webinar

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently bumped up the Denver Metro and North Front Range Area’s nonattainment status for ozone from moderate to serious. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is now working on modeling to support a package of control measures to be added to the Colorado state implementation plan (SIP) to bring the area into compliance with federal ozone standards.

In this live video webinar, we will hear from Amanda Brimmer, Technical Director for the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) to update our attendees on SIP planning and regulatory requirements. Also joining Amanda will be Ralph Morris of Ramboll, one of the original developers of many of the photochemical air quality models being used for regulatory decision making in the US, and leader of Ramboll’s modeling work for the RAQC and CDPHE on Colorado’s Serious Ozone SIP. Ralph and Amanda will be joined by Davis Graham attorneys to provide some brief regulatory and litigation updates, and to field questions from our attendees.

The confirmed speakers for this program are as follows:

    • Amanda Brimmer, Technical Director, Regional Air Quality Council
    • Ralph Morris, Managing Principal, Ramboll
    • John Jacus, Partner, Davis Graham
    • Will Marshall, Associate, Davis Graham

This program is pending for Continuing Legal Education credit in the state of Colorado.

  • How Does the Pandemic Challenge Privacy-Smart Companies?

Join us for a discussion of the privacy issues that COVID-19 has brought to the forefront in the workplace, at home, and in our public spaces. What should businesses be thinking about as they alter data processes in response to the pandemic? What protocols should be considered to keep confidential data protected in teleworking conditions? Are companies able to keep separate employee private information, customer personal data, and company confidential information? Are companies engaging the right stakeholders as they weigh their privacy commitments to employees and customers against public health responsibilities? These and other issues will be covered in this Q&A session which uniquely brings together a legal expert, a pioneer in privacy, and a technology executive.
