We often separately discuss inclusion in workplaces and wellness in workplaces, but these two areas have not been fully connected and studied in a way that demonstrates how each is less effective without the other. This virtual presentation will delve into the research that Nextions has conducted on the intersection of inclusion and wellness for majority and underrepresented groups and will also touch upon how generational, racial/ethnic, gender, LGBTQI, and other differences impact our understanding of this intersection. This session will provide practical strategies that attendees can take back to implement in their interactions and work habits, and development strategies, especially as our work has transitioned from in-person to virtual and now to a hybrid or fully in-person environment. The tools and techniques to work effectively in virtual and hybrid spaces are different than those we used to use, and they are especially important given the disruptions and stress that our colleagues are facing. This session is designed to delve into the transition to an inclusive environment where all can thrive.
