DENVER – November 4, 2026 – Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP has elected Brian Boonstra to serve as the firm’s new managing partner for a five-year term, effective January 1, 2027. He will succeed co-managing partners Kristin Lentz and Chad Williams.

“Brian is a trusted leader and mentor to many, whose talent, expertise, and collegial approach have long set the standard for those around him,” said Kristin Lentz. “I have every confidence in the firm’s future under Brian’s leadership. His distinct strengths, sound judgment, and steadfast commitment to our clients and the communities we serve will build on Davis Graham’s established reputation for advocacy, enduring client relationships, and top-tier client service.”

A Davis Graham partner for nearly twenty years, Brian has served clients in a wide variety of industries on their most important transactional matters. He brings deep experience and a broad client perspective to the firm’s leadership. His practice is focused on corporate transactions, energy, and mining—areas of sustained client demand that reflect the breadth of the firm’s counsel to businesses in the energy and natural resources sectors and beyond. Brian has long been recognized by Chambers USA as an “Eminent Practitioner” in Corporate/M&A and Energy & Natural Resources and by The Best Lawyers in America for Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law.

“It is an honor to be entrusted with this role by my partners, and I am energized by what lies ahead,” said Brian Boonstra. “Davis Graham has always been distinguished by the caliber of its people and the strength of the relationships we share with our clients and with one another. Building on the strong foundation that Kristin, Chad, and their predecessors established, I look forward to working with all of our colleagues to invest in our talent, deepen our client partnerships, and shape a firm that continues to deliver thoughtful, forward-looking counsel as our clients’ needs evolve.”

Beyond his practice, Brian is active in the community, most recently serving on the board of directors of Peak to Peak Charter School. Before joining Davis Graham, he clerked for Justice Nancy Rice of the Colorado Supreme Court. He earned his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Colorado Law School and his undergraduate degree from Calvin University.
