Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that three attorneys have joined the Natural Resources Department this month from the Denver office of Gleaton Doumany LLP: Craig Gleaton, Rachael Lechner, and Katie Roux. Their collective experience will further bolster the firm’s vibrant practice in this area.
Craig Gleaton, who is admitted to practice in Colorado, North Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, has joined the Davis Graham partnership. His work will continue to have an emphasis on oil and gas transactional matters, specifically those involving negotiations for operators, non-operating partners, private equity backed ventures, and landowners. Upon receiving his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2007, Mr. Gleaton initially practiced with a small oil and gas law firm in Fort Worth, where he focused on title examination. After relocating to Denver, he ultimately started as an associate at Davis Graham in 2012. He then went on to spend over four years with the in-house legal team at SM Energy Company, where he worked on all forms of oil and gas matters, including operating agreements, master service and other commercial agreements, midstream contracts, and purchase and sale agreements exceeding $5 billion in asset value. In 2017, he co-founded Gleaton Doumany LLP, a boutique oil and gas law firm with offices in Denver and Fort Worth. The capabilities that he demonstrated there earned him widespread recognition in the Rocky Mountain West and Texas.
Rachael Lechner
has joined Davis Graham as of counsel. Her practice focuses on assisting oil and gas clients with the legal questions that arise during their day-to-day operations; oil, gas, and mineral title examination; the preparation of drilling and division order title opinions; corporate transactions; and quiet title actions. Ms. Lechner received her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2009 and is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York, and Wyoming. Before attending law school, she served as a financial analyst for three Denver-based companies, two of which are at the Fortune 300 level.
Katie Roux, who is admitted in Colorado and New Mexico, has joined Davis Graham as an associate. Her practice will continue to focus on title examination and due diligence in oil and gas matters. While attending the University of Colorado School of Law, she interned at SM Energy Company and Encana Corporation. She later worked as corporate counsel at DaVita before joining Gleaton Doumany LLP.
