Alyssa G. Novoselac is a senior associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where she focuses on corporate and finance law. With experience advising public and private companies on a wide range of general corporate transactional matters, Alyssa is a trusted advisor to clients seeking guidance on complex regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Alyssa was an associate at an international law firm in New York, assisting clients with business activities and holding company and subsidiary structures. Her expertise in forming special purpose entities with operating agreements tailored to reflect lender or rating agency governance requirements has been instrumental in helping clients achieve their goals. Before that, Alyssa was an associate in the Toronto office of another international law firm. There, she specialized in multi-jurisdiction corporate governance and represented public companies and mutual funds in regulatory filings, securitizations, and other structured finance and direct and syndicated lending.
Alyssa received her J.D. and MBA from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Rotman School of Management. During law school, she worked at the Ontario Securities Commission evaluating Toronto Stock Exchange issuers’ compliance with NI 58-101 Disclosure of Corporate Governance Practices, specifically related to women’s representation on boards and in executive roles. She also holds an Honors B.Sc. with a Specialist in Forensic Science and Biology from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
