Caitlin Dacus
Associate
Caitlin Dacus is an associate in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Caitlin is dedicated to fighting for their clients and delivering practical and innovative solutions.
Before joining Davis Graham, Caitlin served as a law clerk for the Honorable William W. Hood, III, of the Colorado Supreme Court, gaining valuable experience in appellate advocacy.
Caitlin earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where she served as Editor in Chief of Volume 95 of the University of Colorado Law Review, competed on the National Trial Team, and advised nonprofit clients in employment and state licensing issues in the Sustainable Community Development Clinic. She also worked as a teaching assistant for legal writing and civil procedure and as a research assistant in the area of civil rights law. Her leadership and service during law school were recognized with multiple honors, including the Meritorious Student Award, OUTLaw’s Outstanding LGBTQ+ Student Award, and the Outstanding Mentor Award. Caitlin holds a B.A. from Oklahoma Baptist University.
Prior to law school, Caitlin spent a decade working in adult language education and community empowerment, serving refugee, immigrant, and international student communities. Through that work, she developed deep expertise in cross-cultural communication, creative problem-solving, and client-centered advocacy—skills that continue to inform her legal practice today.
