Caitlin Dacus
Associate
Caitlin Dacus is an associate in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP.
Caitlin’s practice centers on initiating and defending complex commercial litigation and arbitration, including contract, IP, and products liability disputes. She has experience negotiating favorable settlements and addressing cross‑border issues in international contract matters. She represents clients across industries such as telecommunications, energy and natural resources, aviation, and automotive. Caitlin participates in appellate matters and conducts ongoing appellate court monitoring.
Caitlin also maintains an active pro bono practice representing immigration clients seeking asylum as well as incarcerated clients pursuing habeas relief.
Before joining Davis Graham, Caitlin served as a law clerk for the Honorable William W. Hood, III, of the Colorado Supreme Court, gaining valuable appellate experience.
Caitlin earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where she served as Editor in Chief of Volume 95 of the University of Colorado Law Review, competed on the National Trial Team, and advised nonprofit clients in employment and state and federal licensing issues in the Community Collaboration Clinic. She also worked as a teaching assistant and research assistant. Her leadership and service during law school were recognized with multiple honors, including the Meritorious Student Award, OUTLaw’s Outstanding LGBTQ+ Student Award, and the Outstanding Mentor Award.
Before law school, Caitlin spent a decade in adult language education and community empowerment, serving refugee, immigrant, and international student communities. She holds a B.A. in anthropology from Oklahoma Baptist University.
