Dorian K. Panchyson
Senior Associate
Dorian Panchyson is a senior associate in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. He represents businesses in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts, and before various arbitral forums. His clients span a range of industries, including energy and utilities, financial services, manufacturing, and hospitality.
Before moving to Davis Graham, Dorian spent nearly a decade at a global law firm in New York City, where he represented clients in high-stakes commercial litigation and international arbitration. His experience includes disputes involving global energy and clean technology companies, as well as a three-and-a-half-week trial in Miami-Dade County that resulted in a $131 million verdict.
Since joining the firm, Dorian has represented clients throughout Colorado and the Mountain West, ranging from international energy companies and national utility providers to closely held Colorado businesses, including restaurants, craft breweries, and small-scale manufacturers. He advises clients throughout every stage of a dispute, from early case assessment and strategic counseling through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.
Before entering private practice, Dorian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rudolph Contreras of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Earlier in his career, he worked for the Canadian government on matters involving cybersecurity policy, natural resources, and international affairs. That experience continues to inform his approach to advising clients operating in highly regulated industries and navigating complex regulatory environments.
Dorian earned his J.D. from Georgetown University, where he served as Executive Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal, and his degree in International Relations and Economics from the London School of Economics.
Dorian serves on the Associate Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver, where he helps advance opportunities for young people across the region. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, including prior work with Her Justice, an organization that provides legal services to survivors of domestic violence in New York City.
Outside the office, Dorian enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, whether backcountry snowboarding, fly fishing Colorado’s trout streams, taking in a Rockies game, or sharing his passion for NASCAR and stock car racing with his kids.
