Senior Associate
Elizabeth Horton is a senior associate in the Trial Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. She litigates complex cases from the initial trial to appeal.
Elizabeth strives to establish a strong legal foundation for her clients’ claims and defenses. She approaches each case as a unique puzzle and utilizes her writing, research, and advocacy skills as part of her wide-ranging legal toolkit. Her strong research and writing have consistently persuaded courts to accept her clients’ innovative legal arguments. Elizabeth is particularly drawn to business litigation because of its variety and the opportunity to help resolve disagreements while simultaneously preventing future disputes for clients.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Elizabeth was an associate in the Denver office of a national business law firm, where she represented clients in a diverse array of litigation matters, from oil and gas to reinsurance. Earlier in her career, she practiced at a boutique education law firm in Durham, NC.
Elizabeth actively contributes her time and expertise to non-profit legal organizations in the local community. She serves on the Convention Planning Committee for the Colorado Women’s Bar Association as well as the Associates Advisory Board for the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado.
Elizabeth’s partner is an active-duty military member at Fort Carson, and they embrace the Colorado lifestyle, such as fishing in the great outdoors and spending time at the lake.
