Ixchel is an associate in the Environmental & Public Lands Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. She focuses on environmental and natural resources law, with significant experience in enforcement defense, regulatory counseling, Title V permit defense, natural resources litigation, and administrative proceedings. Her work encompasses matters arising under the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, NEPA, CERCLA, and RCRA.

In addition to her environmental practice, Ixchel is a member of the firm’s Trial Group, where she represents clients in complex commercial litigation. She has experience across all phases of litigation, including obtaining and defending against preliminary injunctive relief, managing and resolving discovery disputes, and briefing dispositive motions.

Ixchel received her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from St. Edwards University. During law school, she worked for the Environmental Law Clinic and Domestic Violence Clinic and gained experience as a legal intern at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Division at the OAG.

Ixchel also serves on the board of Project Safeguard, a nonprofit organization that provides legal support to survivors of family violence in Colorado.
