Kelsey Johnson
Associate
Kelsey Johnson is an associate in the Real Estate Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. She assists clients with a variety of commercial real estate matters, including development, leasing, land use, and large scale renewable energy projects. She also represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, and administrative proceedings before government agencies.
Kelsey is a member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Foundation of Natural Resources and Energy Law, and the Women’s Energy Network. Kelsey serves on the membership committee for the Colorado Ballet’s Backstage Barre. Kelsey currently serves on the firm’s associate committee.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Kelsey served as a law clerk for the Honorable Cynthia Mares of the 18th Judicial District in Colorado. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael Hegarty of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, and the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office.
During law school, she served as a student attorney for Tulane’s Environmental Law Clinic. She also competed nationally with Tulane Law’s Mock Trial team and served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Program. Kelsey graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School and received Tulane’s “Outstanding Commitment to Service” award for completing over 400 hours of pro bono work. She graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Political Science and Spanish.
