Kent A. Fischmann

Kent A. Fischmann is a partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where his practice focuses on assisting clients in developing and executing strategies to safeguard their technology and to maximize the value of their intellectual property to investors. This often involves developing complementary patent and trade secret programs and protecting trademarks, prosecuting patent applications, conducting freedom to practice analyses, and providing counsel relating to intellectual property transactions. Over the course of his career, he has represented Fortune 50 companies and other clients in a variety of technology areas, including telecommunications, software, network security, aerospace, medical devices, optics, and physics.

Prior to joining Davis Graham, Kent was a partner with and founding member of Marsh Fischmann & Breyfogle LLP in Boulder. He previously practiced at a Denver law firm specializing in intellectual property and at general practice firms in Denver and Seattle.

Kent has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America every year since 2008 and earned the publication’s title of 2016 Lawyer of the Year (Patent Law, Boulder). In addition, he has been repeatedly named a Top Lawyer by 5280 magazine and a Colorado Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers since 2012.
