Maria Oxman is a partner in the Real Estate Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. She focuses her practice on real estate law and has broad experience representing investors, developers, and large companies throughout the U.S. in a variety of real estate matters, including large scale renewable energy projects, leasing, acquisition, dispositions, and hospitality. Maria’s expertise also involves assisting clients with the acquisition and management of real estate in connection with complex mergers and acquisitions.

In connection with her leasing practice, Maria has extensive experience representing both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of industrial, office and retail leases. In addition, she regularly completes trainings for large companies to help them standardize their leasing practices.

In connection with her renewable energy practice, Maria has represented clients developing major wind and solar projects, and helps them navigate title issues, access, easements, leases, and acquisitions and dispositions.

Maria is a contributing author to the Colorado Real Estate Practice, one of CBA-CLE’s most respected and widely used publications and is also an instructor for the related 13-week CLE course.

Maria holds two law degrees and is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Guatemala. While earning her J.D. at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, she interned at the Colorado Supreme Court.

Since 2021, Maria has been named among the “Ones to Watch” in the area of Real Estate Law by Best Lawyers, an annual guide by publisher Woodward/White Inc. In recognition of her achievements and potential, she has also been included as one of Colorado’s “Up and Coming Lawyers” for 2019 by Law Week Colorado.

In her free time, Maria enjoys traveling and eating with her husband and two children. She also enjoys cooking, running, and biking, and skiing and hiking in Grand County, CO.

  • Assisted with real estate components of a series of acquisitions of companies by client throughout the U.S., which lease and own industrial/retail real estate

  • Represented the seller in an apartment portfolio sale involving 31 properties
  • Represented a national hospitality company in a series of multistate acquisitions of hospitality assets
