Marta A. Orpiszewska

Marta Orpiszewska is of counsel in the Environmental & Public Lands Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Marta advises clients on environmental matters in commercial transactions, contaminated land cleanups, and compliance with complex federal, state, and local environmental health and safety laws and regulations.
Marta counsels businesses operating in heavily regulated sectors, including the energy, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Her exceptional diligence and commitment to navigating legal challenges have resulted in successful outcomes for her clients.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Marta was a senior associate in the Denver office of an international law firm, where she helped clients navigate federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety laws, such as CERCLA, RCRA, OSHA, TSCA, and various state and local laws, including Proposition 65 and pharmaceutical stewardship laws. In addition, she has assisted clients with respect to comprehensive environmental audits and voluntary self-disclosure of violations.
Marta received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, her MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and her B.A. in Economics and International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
