Mave Gasaway is a partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where her practice encompasses a broad range of environmental, natural resources, and renewable energy regulatory and litigation matters.

Mave has extensive experience representing some of the firm’s largest clients in complex environmental litigation and site remediation and reuse matters across the country, particularly under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and state law counterparts.

Mave works closely with the firm’s renewable and clean energy clients at all stages of project development, construction, operation, and financing, with a particular emphasis on project siting, permitting, environmental compliance, and associated administrative proceedings and litigation.   

Mave also has represented clients in appeals before the Ninth Circuit, Tenth Circuit, and Colorado Court of Appeals.   

Prior to joining Davis Graham, Mave served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jerome A. Holmes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She graduated summa cum laude from Vermont Law School and received her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. 

Mave is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. She is a member of the American, Colorado, and Denver Bar Associations, the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association.  

Mave has been named among The Best Lawyers in America by Woodward/White for Environmental Law and was named a “Rising Star” by Colorado Super Lawyers.
