Richard (Rick) Reichstein is of counsel in the Real Estate Group of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. His practice focuses on real estate transaction law, including commercial leasing and lending. He represents clients in all facets of their real estate businesses, including acquisition and divestment, entitlement, development, common interest communities, leasing, and financing.

Prior to joining Davis Graham, Rick was senior counsel and partner in the Boulder office of an international law firm. He provided comprehensive legal support and strategic guidance to help clients reach commercial and residential real estate business objectives. Rick counseled clients through the lifecycle of real estate purchase and sales transactions, ranging from preparing and negotiating contracts to documentation and closing. As to commercial leasing, he advised landlords and tenants in negotiating and drafting office, industrial, medical, and retail leases. Rick has successfully represented a number of property owners leasing between millions of dollars of office, retail, and industrial space throughout northern Colorado, the Tech Center, and the Denver metro area.

His expertise also extends to assisting owners of industrial, office, and retail properties with customary and continuous management challenges including assignment and subletting, changes in use, construction of tenant improvements, tenant defaults, property damage and insurance matters. Rick is adept in helping borrowers obtain loans secured by real property for project acquisition in a range of commercial lending enterprises, including those involving shopping centers and retail, office building, mixed-use projects, industrial facilities, and housing and community development.

Rick received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, he was the research and technical editor of the Denver Law Review.
