Sheila is an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where she specializes in corporate transactional matters. She provides sound counsel and valuable insights to clients involved in capital markets and securities transactions, including public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as general corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Sheila was an associate at an international law firm. There, she provided guidance to domestic and international clients operating in a wide range of enterprises, including the cryptocurrency, energy, technology, banking, transportation, supply chain, and gaming industries. In addition, Sheila’s practice encompassed various corporate transactions, such as public M&A, SPAC IPOs and de-SPACs, bankruptcy restructuring, and traditional and alternative equity offerings. She began her legal career as an associate at a global law firm based in Houston, where she represented investment banks and issuers in primary and secondary debt and equity securities transactions. Sheila also has extensive experience in wealth management, including serving as a Vice President in the private bank division of a large financial institution.
Sheila earned her J.D. and MBA from The University of Texas School of Law and the McCombs School of Business. While in graduate school, she served as a staff editor for the Texas Law Review, managing editor for the Texas Review of Entertainment & Sports Law, a student advisor for Texas Venture Labs, and was a Net Impact Board Fellow with the United Way for Greater Austin. She also holds a BSBA with double majors in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis.
Sheila was admitted to the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program for 2023. In 2023, she became a member of the Society of Corporate Governance Rocky Mountain Chapter.
