Sterling LeBoeuf is a partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where his practice focuses on employment counseling and litigation. His clients range from local businesses and non-profits to large organizations with workforces spanning the country.
Sterling counsels clients on the full range of employment issues, including implementing employment policies; complying with wage and hour and other workplace laws; drafting and interpreting restrictive covenants; managing independent contractor and other contingent workforce matters; handling workplace investigations; and navigating accommodation, performance management, and separation issues. He also handles employment due diligence for clients in the transactional context.
Sterling also has an active litigation practice. He regularly prosecutes and defends non-competition and trade secret matters. He also defends cases alleging wage and hour violations and discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. He is experienced in all phases of civil litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.
In addition to his employment practice, Sterling advises clients on a range of general risk management, crisis management, and litigation issues.
Before joining Davis Graham, Sterling served for two years as a law clerk for District Judge Lewis T. Babcock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He also was an associate in the Denver office of an international law firm.
Sterling earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Virginia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Sterling is admitted to practice in the state courts of Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Sterling currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Mile High United Way.
