Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin E. Holst has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate Group. Kevin is admitted to practice in Colorado.
“We are excited to welcome Kevin to our team,” said Chad Williams, co-managing partner of Davis Graham. “His practical experience and business-minded approach will help us deliver even greater value to our clients, particularly in the hospitality sector. Kevin’s deep hospitality background strengthens our position as the go-to firm for ski resort land transactions and M&A, resort-adjacent development and investment, and all real estate matters in hospitality-driven markets. His addition bolsters our position as a leading law firm for hospitality businesses in the markets we serve.”
Kevin focuses his practice on the development of ski and mountain resorts and all real estate matters supporting resort ecosystems, including master-planned communities and multifamily projects. With extensive experience spanning acquisitions, development, leasing, financing, and joint ventures, Kevin advises developers, investors, owners, operators, and growing companies on their most complex real estate and business transactions.
As real estate counsel in multidisciplinary transactions, Kevin advises clients on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, land use and zoning, condominium and mixed-use developments, and property and hotel management agreements, as well as related corporate matters. His experience encompasses risk management, regulatory compliance, and construction-related issues.
Kevin brings more than two decades of experience in private practice and senior in-house legal and business roles across the resort, hospitality, real estate development, technology, and private investment sectors. This diverse background informs his pragmatic approach to structuring transactions, managing negotiations, and advancing challenging projects.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Kevin practiced at the Denver office of a full-service commercial law firm. Earlier in his career, he held legal and business leadership roles with companies in resort operations, real estate development, investment, and software.
Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.A. in History and Political Science from St. Olaf College.
