Kevin E. Holst is a partner in the Real Estate Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. With more than two decades of experience in sophisticated real estate and business transactions, Kevin advises developers, investors, owners, operators, and growing companies on complex matters requiring practical judgment, disciplined execution, and a clear understanding of business objectives. His practice is informed by experience in both private practice and senior in-house leadership roles.

Kevin focuses his practice on the development of ski and mountain resorts, master-planned communities, and multifamily projects. He advises clients on acquisitions, development, leasing, financing, joint ventures, employee housing, private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, land use and zoning, property and hotel management agreements, condominium projects, mixed-use communities, and related corporate matters. He also has extensive experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, leasing, and construction-related issues.

Drawing on his background in the resort, hospitality, real estate development, technology, and private investment sectors, Kevin brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to every engagement. He helps clients evaluate risk, structure transactions, manage negotiations, and move complex projects forward while keeping commercial priorities and long-term objectives in focus.

Prior to joining Davis Graham, Kevin practiced in the Denver office of a full-service commercial law firm. Over the course of his career, he has overseen and negotiated more than $2.5 billion in real estate, resort, hospitality, and mixed-use transactions. Before his transition to private practice, he held legal and business leadership roles with companies involved in resort operations, real estate development, investment, and software. That experience continues to shape his approach to client service, giving him a strong understanding of operational demands, cross-functional decision-making, and the value of legal advice that is both technically sound and commercially effective.

Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.A. in History and Political Science from St. Olaf College.
