Emily Golz is a staff attorney at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. She has experience in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation risk advising to discovery disputes, depositions, motions practice, and post-trial motions and appeals.

Before rejoining Davis Graham, Emily was an associate at a regional law firm, as well as an adjunct professor for the University of Montana – Missoula College. Earlier in her career, she served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Brian D. Boatright of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Emily received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, she served as the Senior Forum Editor for the Denver Law Review, a teaching assistant for property law, and a student representative for the Colorado Supreme Court’s Well-Being Task Force. Emily was a summer associate in Davis Graham’s Advocacy Department. 

Emily holds a B.A. from the University of Montana, where she competed in NCAA Division I track and field. She is a former member of the Colorado Diverse Attorney Community Circle (CODACC) Leadership Program and served on the board of trustees for Savio, a local non-profit organization.
