Miriam Trudell is a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions Group at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Miriam’s practice focuses on trademark, copyright, and domain name law, offering comprehensive legal guidance to a diverse range of clients. She has a robust background in domestic trademark protection and maintenance, managing processes from searching and clearing to filing and prosecuting. Her experience extends to Ex Parte practice and Opposition/Cancellation practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Miriam’s practice also includes assisting clients with building and maintaining international trademark portfolios, encompassing trademark clearance, protection, prosecution, and maintenance. Miriam also advises clients on copyright law, providing expert advice on filing and prosecuting registration applications with the U.S. Copyright Office and advising on issues related to domain name disputes, including successfully handling numerous Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings. An advocate for her clients’ intellectual property rights, Miriam excels in policing, enforcing, defending, and licensing these rights.
Recognized for her excellence, she holds an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was honored as the 2020 Lawyer of the Year in Trademark Law by Best Lawyers.
Miriam is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
