Senior Associate
Ryan G. Wilcox is a senior associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where his practice has a broad emphasis on commercial real estate transactions in Colorado and nationwide. He maintains a diverse transactional real estate practice encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, construction, and financing for hospitality, office, residential, retail, recreational, industrial, and mixed-use projects, including historic preservation and adaptive reuse. Mr. Wilcox also assists clients with the acquisition and disposition of real estate in connection with complex mergers and acquisitions.
In Mr. Wilcox’s development practice, he has represented clients through every stage of development, from acquisition, entitlements, construction, financing, and leasing, through final disposition. Mr. Wilcox has extensive leasing experience on both the landlord and tenant side across a broad array of asset classes and leasehold structures.
In connection with his historic preservation and conservation practice, Mr. Wilcox has represented nonprofit easement holding organizations and a nonprofit loan fund to preserve, acquire, and renovate historic properties across Colorado, including the negotiation of delicate historic preservations issues on high profile properties.
Outside the practice of law, Mr. Wilcox enjoys exploring the Colorado wilderness with his wife and daughter.
REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
- Represented client in entitlements, construction, leasing, and structuring of large retail and entertainment-based development.
- Represented client in formation of joint ventures to acquire and/or develop hotels across the U.S., including assisting with the negotiation and structuring of a forward purchase agreement for a nationally reported on five-star hotel currently under development.
- Represented national hospitality companies in the nationwide acquisition and development of hospitality assets, including hotel, glamping, and ski resort properties.
- Assisted with real estate components of a multimillion-dollar transaction involving numerous mining and industrial sites throughout the U.S.
