Stephanie Morr is a seasoned staff attorney at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. She has experience representing upstream and midstream oil and gas companies in an array of legal matters, including contract, asset and equity transactions, regulatory, mineral title examination, drilling and division order title opinions, and land issues.

Stephanie is well-versed in commercial contracting and risk allocation in the energy industry. She advises operators and contractors in drafting, negotiating, and managing master service agreements (MSAs), drilling contracts, consulting agreements, and purchase agreements.  Stephanie brings a practical and operations-driven approach to contract development, ensuring that liability, indemnity, and legal requirements are aligned with each client’s risk profile and business objectives.  Because Stephanie has previous litigation experience, she is able to better anticipate dispute scenarios in structuring contract language.

Prior to joining Davis Graham, Stephanie was general counsel at an interstate natural gas transportation company based in Missouri and Denver. During that time, she gained experience with federal and state regulatory proceedings and regulatory compliance. She has managed significant litigation on behalf of natural gas pipelines and represented natural resource companies, financial institutions, and other organizations.

Stephanie earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and graduated with honors from the University of Colorado. During law school, she served as editor for the Denver Law Review. Stephanie is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
