Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Melanie Granberg will become a partner of the firm, effective May 1, 2026.

“Melanie brings exceptional depth of experience, sound judgment, and a highly collaborative approach to her practice,” said Jon Rauchway, head of the firm’s Environmental & Public Lands Group. “Her decades of advising clients on complex environmental and regulatory matters, combined with her leadership and practical perspective, make her a natural fit for our firm. We are pleased to welcome her to the partnership.”

Melanie’s practice spans a broad range of technical areas, including regulatory compliance, permitting, enforcement, property transactions, and litigation under federal and state environmental programs such as RCRA, CERCLA, the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right‑to‑Know Act, and OSHA. She regularly advises clients on spill response and crisis management, environmental self‑audits and voluntary disclosures, site remediation and Brownfields redevelopment, air and hazardous waste permitting, and contaminated property issues involving asbestos, lead, and methamphetamine.

Melanie received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado. She served in the past as a multi-term member of the Colorado Solid and Hazardous Waste Commission, and is the environmental law coordinating editor for The Colorado Lawyer, the Colorado Bar Association’s flagship publication. Melanie is also a member of the Susan G. Komen Colorado Community Board and volunteers regularly at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
