Join Davis Graham for a comprehensive overview of what business organizations need to know about developments in the use, regulation, and governance of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) systems. Organizations that develop, use, or are impacted by AI systems face a rapidly-evolving governance environment. This seminar will discuss important developments in industry standard governance frameworks such as NIST and IAPP and will address how those frameworks affect businesses and transactions. The seminar will also provide an overview of Colorado’s first-in-the-nation comprehensive AI consumer protection legislation, which may be a model for other state or federal legislative efforts and which itself is likely to be subject to amendment. The seminar will also cover other AI-related legal developments, such as IP litigation involving AI, liability risks for GenAI products and services, AI in M&A transactions, and other efforts by governments and courts to regulate AI.
