Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has added six new associates: Cormac Bloomfield (Trial Group); Mackenzie Coupens (Business & Corporate Advisory Group); Kristin Glesne (Business & Corporate Advisory Group); Erin Gust (Trial Group); Kylie Ngu (Trial Group) and Haley Van Broekhoven (Business & Corporate Advisory Group). Their collective experience will further bolster the firm’s capabilities when assisting clients with transactional matters and complex litigation.

Cormac Bloomfield: At Davis Graham, Mr. Bloomfield’s practice will focus on commercial litigation and disputes. He received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, his M.A. from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, and his B.S. from Ohio State University. Before starting at Davis Graham, Mr. Bloomfield served as a law clerk for the Honorable Maria Berkenkotter of the Colorado Supreme Court and the Honorable Charles Kornmann of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Amicus Committee and serves as a representative for the Denver Bar Association to the Colorado Bar Association’s Board of Governors. Mr. Bloomfield is admitted to practice law in Colorado.

Mackenzie Coupens: A former summer associate at Davis Graham, Ms. Coupens will focus her practice on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Ms. Coupens earned her B.S.B.A. from The University of Tulsa, also studying abroad at the La Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. Prior to joining Davis Graham, Ms. Coupens was a law clerk in the Denver office of a nationally and internationally recognized transactional boutique law firm. During law school, she earned the Provost’s Merit Scholarship for her academic excellence and served as staff editor of the Denver Law Review. Ms. Coupens also was a member of the International Law Society and Business Law Society.

Kristin Glesne: Ms. Glesne, a past summer associate at Davis Graham, will focus her practice on corporate governance and employee benefits. She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and her B.B.A. from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business. While in law school, Ms. Glesne was an active member of the Barrister’s Council Transaction Team, where she played a key role in organizing several transactional competitions at CU Law and represented the law school in a transactional competition in Los Angeles, California. She also served as treasurer for the Business and Tax Law Association. Before joining the firm, she completed an internship at Zayo Group.

Erin Gust: A former summer associate at Davis Graham, Ms. Gust will focus her practice on commercial litigation and disputes. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and earned her B.S. from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Davis Graham, Ms. Gust took on several internships, including one for the Honorable Timothy M. Tymkovich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and another for the Honorable Daniel D. Domenico of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. During law school, she was a member of the Minoru Yasui Inn of Court, marketing director for the Federalist Society, and a student attorney for the Civil Litigation Clinic. Earlier in her career, she interned at the Innocence Project of Texas. Ms. Gust is admitted to practice law in Colorado.

Kylie Ngu: A past summer associate with Davis Graham, Ms. Ngu will focus her practice on commercial litigation and disputes. She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and her B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder. While in law school, Ms. Ngu was a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, the Women’s Law Caucus, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, and the Moot Court Board of Barristers’ Council. In addition, she was a student attorney for the Juvenile and Family Law Clinic. Before joining the firm, Ms. Ngu served as a law clerk in the Denver office of a boutique litigation firm and completed judicial externships for the Honorable Scott T. Varholak of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Honorable Monica M. Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court. Ms. Ngu is a Law School…Yes We Can! mentor as well as a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Fellow.

Haley Van Broekhoven: At Davis Graham, Ms. Broekhoven’s practice will focus on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, her M.A. from the University of Kent, Brussels School of International Studies, and her B.A. from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining Davis Graham, Ms. Van Broekhoven was a vendor strategy professional in the Boulder office of Google. Earlier in her career, she was a program manager and legal extern in the Denver office of Evelance Health, a Fortune 100 health insurance plan provider. Before that, she worked for Raymond James Financial, a global financial services company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she obtained her Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
