Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP has elected Kristin L. Lentz and Chad Williams as new co-managing partners. Effective January 1, 2017, Ms. Lentz and Mr. Williams will serve in this leadership role for a four-year term.

Kristin L. Lentz
Ms. Lentz is a partner in the firm’s Finance & Acquisitions Department and a member of the Executive Committee. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions for both public and private companies. Ms. Lentz also counsels public companies on securities compliance and disclosure issues, including executive compensation and corporate governance matters. She represents clients in a broad range of industries, including the restaurant and retail, energy, healthcare, and technology industries, and has significant experience with mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions involving oil and gas companies.
Ms. Lentz has been practicing law since graduating from Boston College Law School, cum laude, in 1999. Prior to joining Davis Graham, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gregory J. Hobbs, Jr. of the Colorado Supreme Court. She received her B.A., cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Colorado in 1994. Ms. Lentz has been selected for inclusion in Colorado Super Lawyers, which is published by Thomson Reuters, since 2013, and is a previous recipient of M&A Advisors’ 40 Under 40 Award for the Western Region. She is a current member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Mergers and Acquisitions and Securities Subsections of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
Chad Williams
Mr. Williams is the current chair of the firm’s Trial Department and a member of the Executive Committee. He practices complex civil and criminal litigation with an emphasis in business disputes, white collar criminal defense, securities litigation and SEC enforcement, and all cases earmarked for trial. In the last decade, Mr. Williams has been involved in some of the largest civil lawsuits and criminal investigations and cases in the U.S. He regularly represents the oil and gas industry, government officials, public companies with foreign and domestic civil liability, and directors and officers with criminal and civil liability in major litigation across the country. As a former Deputy State Public Defender, his courtroom experience is vast. Mr. Williams has taken to trial numerous civil and criminal cases ranging from fraud to complex disputes over mineral rights on behalf of major natural resources companies. He has a track record of prevailing at trial in even the most difficult and media-charged cases.
Mr. Williams graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Order of St. Ives. Before coming to Davis Graham, more than 16 years ago, he clerked for Michael E. Tigar in the defense of United States v. Terry Lynn Nichols. Mr. Williams received his B.S. from the University of Colorado. He has been selected for inclusion in Colorado Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters, is a Benchmark Litigation Colorado Litigation Star, and has earned an AV® Preeminent™Peer Review Rating from Martindale-AVVO. Mr. Williams has been recognized by Chambers USA for Litigation: General Commercial and Best Lawyers in America. He is a Colorado Bar Foundation Fellow.
