Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Lindsay Dofelmier has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the firm’s Energy & Mining Group. “The firm is thrilled to welcome Lindsay to our robust Natural Resources practice. Her experience will continue to grow an already deep bench, and we look forward to her contributions to the firm and our clients,” said Davis Graham Energy & Mining Group Leader Sam Niebrugge.

Lindsay’s practice sits at the leading edge of the energy transition, and she leverages her deep understanding of regulatory and transactional landscapes to meet her client’s strategic business needs. With experience across the private, government, and non profit sectors, Lindsay offers valuable insight into a wide range of natural resources, environmental, and energy issues, including critical minerals/rare earths, mining, renewables, endangered species, water law, public lands, and tribal consultation. Lindsay’s practice is global and spans all facets of natural resources law and all stages of project development. She advises clients on resource development on public, private, and Indian lands, complex commercial transactions, permitting, compliance, disputes, and issues arising under federal and state statutes related to energy, the environment, and natural resources.

Prior to joining Davis Graham, Lindsay worked in the Houston and Denver offices of two major international law firms, where her practice focused on natural resources and energy law, and as a legal fellow in Defenders of Wildlife’s Denver office, where she worked on a variety of legal matters related to conservation and special status species. Lindsay also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Melinda Harmon of the Southern District of Texas.

Lindsay received her J.D. from The University of Texas Law School and earned a dual B.A. in Japanese and international studies from the University of Washington.

She maintains a robust pro bono practice and is active in the firm’s diversity efforts and the local community. Lindsay is a member of the Turtle Clan of the Onondaga Clear Sky First Nation of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy.
