Maria Oxman focuses her practice on real estate law and has broad experience representing investors, developers, and large companies across the U.S. Her expertise covers a wide range of real estate matters, including large-scale renewable energy projects, leasing, acquisition, dispositions, and hospitality. Ms. Oxman’s unique skills involve helping clients with the acquisition and management of real estate in connection with mergers and acquisitions. In her leasing practice, she represents both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of industrial, office, and retail leases. As a trusted advisor, Ms. Oxman regularly completes training programs for large companies to help them standardize their leasing practice. Ms. Oxman also provides legal representation for clients involved in renewable energy projects, particularly in the development of extensive wind and solar initiatives.

Ms. Oxman is a contributing author to the Colorado Real Estate Practice
and an instructor for the related 13-week CLE course. She is a member of the 2023 class of the General Counsel Mentorship Program. Since 2021, Ms. Oxman has been named among the “Ones to Watch” in the area of Real Estate Law by Best Lawyers, an annual guide by publisher Woodward/White Inc. Ms. Oxman holds two law degrees and is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Guatemala. While earning her J.D. at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, she interned at the Colorado Supreme Court.
