Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Shane Niebergall has joined the firm as a partner in the Technology Transactions & Intellectual Property Law Group. His practice will continue to have an emphasis on intellectual property law and patent prosecution.
Mr. Niebergall is a top-level patent practitioner who brings over 25 years of experience in intellectual property law, emphasizing U.S.-based and international property counseling, litigation, and patent prosecution to the firm. His extensive knowledge of technology enables him to collaborate closely with clients, crafting comprehensive patent strategies tailored to their specific industries. Mr. Niebergall has an impressive record of preparing and prosecuting numerous patent applications spanning diverse technologies, including medical devices, robotics, telecommunications applications, software/business methods, and wastewater treatment facilities. In addition, Mr. Niebergall has litigated plaintiff and defendant positions in patent infringement actions and argued before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Prior to joining Davis Graham, Mr. Niebergall was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, where he specialized in patent prosecution and helped clients develop patent portfolios that act as competitive barriers and new revenue generators. He is an active member of the Colorado American Intellectual Property Inn of Court; ABA, Intellectual Property Law Section; American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA); and the CBA, Patent, Trademark and Copyright Section.
Mr. Niebergall received his J.D., cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law and earned his B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder.
