Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP is pleased to announce that Tara Leesar has joined the firm as an associate in its Trial Group.
Tara brings a wealth of experience to Davis Graham, having previously served as a Carr Fellow at the Office of the Colorado Attorney General. In this role, Tara authored multiple appellate briefs, drafted segments of the U.S. Supreme Court merits brief in Counterman v. Colorado, and prepared Attorney General Phil Weiser for oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court. Her practice also includes work on high-profile prosecutions and significant litigation involving consumer fraud and antitrust matters.
A graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2022, Tara also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Emory University. During law school, she distinguished herself as a top oralist for the Jessup Moot Court team, served as an associate editor for the Denver Law Review, and interned for the Honorable Justice Carlos Samour, Jr. of the Colorado Supreme Court.
Tara is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Doyle Inn of Court and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
